WAID's convention begins Sunday, September 30 with the afternoon Welcome Reception and concludes with the Awards Dinner Tuesday, October 2. Most attendees check in on Sunday and check out on Wednesday. There are a limited number of rooms available Friday and Saturday prior to the convention. If your travel plans include arrival prior to Sunday, please book early!

Reservations must be made by August 28, 2012 for the group rate. Reservations made after that date may not receive the discounted rate.

The WAID Board of Directors announces the 2012 Annual Convention location! The InterContinental Hotel in Monterey, California will be the WAID host hotel. The newest and probably the last hotel to be built right on the water is located next to the world-renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium in the heart of John Steinbeck's historic Cannery Row.

The La Playa Hotel has been sold and will be closed for renovations. WAID is currently researching a convention site for 2012.
